Midsummer trip to UK farm

Mid-summer brought a visit to the Ethical Food Company organic UK apple farms from a group of South African growers and one of EFC’s Procurement Manager. The organic farms in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire are a mixture of established and newly planted orchards growing a range of varieties for our customers. The lack of rain will result in a slightly smaller sized fruit this year, but we still expect lots of delicious organic apples. Harvest not too far away now for the early varieties!
